Aaron Zielinske has served as pastor at the Meeker Assembly of God since 2008. He also serves as the head of the Meeker Ministerial Alliance which helps coordinate several ecumenical/community wide events including Vacation Bible School, Awana Children’s Ministry, Holy Week – Easter Sunrise and Stations of the Cross services.

Aaron serves on the Meeker Human Resource Council and recently has worked to realign this organizations funding priorities with results of Community Health Assessment.

He oversees the Underground, a student outreach in Meeker which provides a safe place for 7th-12th graders to congregate every Thursday night during the school year.

Aaron volunteers and  has organized volunteer efforts and recognition activities throughout the community. He serves as a volunteer coach with ERBM Recreation & Park District, and helped organize race marshals for the trail run. In the past, he was a substitute teacher and a football coach in Meeker, and helps the school with snow removal during the worst winter storms.

He also volunteers with the Meeker Services Recognition reception, Pee-Wee Wrestling tournaments, and New Eden Crisis Pregnancy Center fundraisers.

He teaches classes to local Homeschool Co-op participants and teaches regularly at the regional ministry training school in Grand Junction.

Aaron and his wife Gina, along with their three children, recently welcomed a new members to their family when they became legal guardians of a local adult with cognitive disabilities, essentially adopting their friend into their young family.
