Congratulations to Jim Riegel who has been nominated as April Citizen of the Month!
Jim Riegel has led a life of service to his country and to his community. A native of Meeker, he answered his nations call to serve in Vietnam. Despite personal tragedies that would have completely discouraged most people, he maintains an uplifting spirit. His sense of fun and adventure is infectious. He goes out of his way to lend his skills, and he willingly drops what he is doing to help a friend in need. More than a few who have hit upon hard times have found a friend in Jim and, through him, a second chance.
