The Meeker Chamber of Commerce fills the role of the Chamber of Commerce, Main Street organization, and tourism marketing organization for Meeker Colorado.
The Meeker Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to passionately advocate for our businesses. Our vision is to create a robust community where strong local businesses—supported by meaningful partnerships, valuable resources, and tourism—create rooted success
Our Board meetings are open to the public on the third Wednesday of the month at the Meeker Business Center (345 Market Street) at 5:45pm. If you would like to join virtually please let us know and we will send you the link.

Board of Directors
The Meeker Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors consists of seven members who speak as one voice to achieve the Chamber’s mission. These are volunteers from the community who are leaders and advocates for strong business and tourism growth in Meeker.

Joshua Harrison – President Board Term: September 2021 – 2024, September 2024-2027
Wendy Gutierrez – Vice President Board Term: September 2024-2027
Wendy moved to Meeker in January 1980, and together with her husband, Bobby, they have started three businesses : Wendll’s, Wendll’s White River Roasters, and Bobby G’s Memories. Wendll’s is celebrating 30 years of “endeavoring to persevere “ in the business climate that is Meeker, and is excited for the future of our little town.
“I feel I have a shared history and mutual respect for all the Chamber members and citizens in our community.”
Andrea Gianinetti – Treasurer Board Term: September 2023-2026
Andre
a and her husband Nick both grew up in Meeker and started Gianinetti’s Powersports Rentals in 2019. Andrea is also president of the Board of Directors for New Eden Pregnancy Care Services. She teaches piano lessons, is a volunteer youth sports coach, and a substitute teacher for Meeker School District.

Emily Gerloff Board Term: September 2025 – 2028
Emily is
the owner of The Mend, a local spa offering facials, float tanks, massages, waxing, and more. Through running The Mend, Emily has developed strong leadership skills and built meaningful connections with other small businesses in Meeker. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for community growth, and she is committed to fostering collaboration and supporting the local business community.
Michele Morgan Board Term: September 2025-2028
Michele is the owner and manager of Elk Mountain Inn. She is committed to fostering a thriving local business community and supporting the Chamber’s mission of creating a positive, inclusive, and beneficial business environment. Michele brings her insight and dedication to help members work toward self-sufficiency while strengthening and growing Meeker’s local business community.
John is the owner of ER Welding and has lived in Meeker for nearly five years. A Navy veteran and Chamber member for the past three years, John primarily supports the local community through general fabrication and repair work. He strongly believes in supporting local businesses and giving back to the community. John has also contributed to several Uplift Meeker projects by assisting with fabrication for community improvements.
Jenna Holt Board Term: September 2024-2026
Jenna returned to Meeker in 2018 and opened Bluebell Boutique in 2021. As a small business owner, she understands the challenges local businesses face and is passionate about helping them succeed.
Jenna is a strong supporter of shopping local and enjoys helping organize community-focused initiatives such as the annual Pink Friday Shopping Event. Through her service on the Chamber Board, she hopes to support fellow business owners, strengthen the local economy, and contribute to a thriving Meeker community.
Advisory Board Members
Kim Colflesh

Kim has been on the Meeker Chamber Board of Directors from 2006 to 2017. She is now on the Advisory Board. Kim’s strong background in finance and customer relations makes her an excellent member of the board. Kim is a Colorado native and has lived in Meeker since 2005. Kim does small bookkeeping jobs for local businesses and enjoys the small town and rural lifestyle of Meeker. She also assists her family on their cattle ranch near Rifle, Colorado.
Staff
Sara Stephenson – Executive Director
Sara has called Meeker home since 2020 and stepped into the role of Executive Director of the Meeker Chamber of Commerce in 2025. With a dynamic background in creativity, marketing, communications, public outreach, and relationship building, she brings a fresh and strategic vision to the organization.
In addition to leading the Chamber, Sara also manages the Uplift Meeker initiative through the Main Street Program, where she’s passionate about preserving the town’s character while fostering economic vitality and community pride. Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time in the outdoors—fly fishing, hunting, and paddleboarding with her dog.

April Ruiz – Marketing & Tourism Coordinator

April fell in love with Meeker in 2019, quickly developing a passion for celebrating its local heritage and keeping the community vibrant. Balancing her time between marketing for the Chamber and serving as Assistant Director of the White River Museum, she brings a creative eye for graphic design, archival story telling, and community outreach to this role.
When she isn’t creating promotional materials or doing archival work, she is likely doing a DIY home renovation project, tending to her dogs, chickens, cats and ducks, or spending time with her kids in the great outdoors.
