January Citizen of the Month – Dr. Bob Dorsett

Dr. Bob Dorsett has given many volunteer hours for Robotics, a class sponsored by the ERBM Park & Rec District. Also for Science Fridays sponsored by the Meeker Regional Library. “Dr. Dorsett is the most humble, intelligent, informative and caring teacher we have ever had the privilege of working with.”

Dr. Dorsett moved to Meeker to work as a medical doctor at Pioneers Medical Center. In 2001, he began his career as a math and science teacher at Meeker High School. He is a dedicated and passionate teacher. During his time there he organized international trips to various areas through Ecology Project International, and also helped the students to raise money for the trip.
